Why don't we get rid of the pending duels while we are at it? It just gets in the way, and is too much work.

Me and besh changed it because we were certain other updaters would agree with us because it's less work for them, etc
If this is a problem then you can keep updating it man.. I don't know any other way to solve it

Add a * next to a person's name for each time that person loses by dodge.
Add a + next to a person's name for each time that person is declared the loser by void rule (to an admin's discretion).

[B]Gear change rules: You cannot change gear in the MIDDLE OF A DUEL, only before or after a duel.

Gear check rules: Refer to page 1 of this ladder thread; if u feel your opponent is using ethereal non repairable gear or poison, you have the right to ask for a gear check, and the opponent cannot refuse! if he refuses, stop the duel and message an admin to come to the game.

Re-spec rules: If you re-spec your barb, you have to rejoin the ladder and start from bottom again

Umm neo you got me all wrong man.. I was referring to 'people who run the ladder' deciding whether to bring it back or not now that there's a fuss about it being removed

i say we keep the finished duels, but only the most recent 5 of them and the older ones get deleted. only takes a couple of seconds to update unless you suck at typing or something. if you all are overburdened with the ladder updates put me back on as admin.
