ive gotten every single one of my duels done within the original limit without asking for an extension once.
the reason for 2 days for non top 5 is because it really prevents people from moving up if they just started and the duels there are not as important. also duels will get nulled or dodge counts given if extensions are not asked for before the original time of duel should have been finished.
being firm without extensions can fuck people over who have busy work schedules or lives beyond d2jsp
