well they should notify admins or be crossed out till they return imo.they know there is a 3 day dodge rule

Exactly. There is a three day dodge rule! We don't need to remove anyone from the ladder because this rule is already in place.

The people who disappear for weeks will just end up being at the bottom of the list, so who cares? Giving them three days makes it fair to them.

Yeah..because that's what I'm thinking about doing whenever I'm going on vacation..don't remove people..if they don't respond within 3 days or are inactive for 3+ days than just move them accordingly until they reach the bottom.

The people who afk will just be skipped.
