Noticed the rule discussion & back when I had 9 sorcs a few years back I also considered these rules.
The easiest way to be inclusive is to just have 1 piece of stack res over +65 and max allowed 400 cold res total.
People can reach that however they like. If they want extra life/res charms that shouldn’t matter. It just means inventory spots are used on those charms instead of skill gcs or fhr charms. You have to weigh up losing damage or mana regen or fhr and other factors. Everyone goes in knowing who and what type of sorc they are versing anyway.
These are obviously rules from east as you mention 15/70 scs.
You should also remember when these rules were developed there were no imports/hybrids etc so only 1-2 people on entire realms even had gear close to what people have now. Nowadays there are plenty of shopped and imported items so it is a more even playing field.
Appreciate the input bro, context is definitely important when it comes to the rules. I am very open to changing the rules up for the sake of making this ladder more inclusive.
