Es Vs Vita Rules:

- Both may use mana potions, but es may not constantly run to wait for mana regen
- Es may use 1 sorb ring (wisp/dwarf/raven) OR up to +5% max resist (waterwalks, one vex, ohm, lo)
- Es may not use 1 sorb ring and +5% max at the same time tho
- Vita has normal gm sorb rules except they may not wear 1 piece of sorb + 1 piece of ANY max resist at the same (dwarf + waterwalks is bm, tgods is gm as always)
- Vita may use 2 pieces of +5% max resist each = 10% (vex in helm + waterwalks is gm)

i missed this even.

i've been going by the current nl rules this whole time. didnt think fmjz were up to date at all cause they were just copied pasted from past ladders.

and with 73% es + 10% max fire = 83%. its gm. its not gm if you have over 90% es cause then you would exceed the limit.

the mitigation shit makes sense and isnt complicated lol.

back in the day es sorc's weren't allowed to use 10% max resist and mana pots why should they now?

if you give a es sorc mana pots and 10% max resist there almost like a vita sorc with extra tanking.

a well built esfb with 85 res will litereally never die if your defensive, and i dont even mean overly defensive - just playing it a way an es vs vita should be played

nah since your all vita... 10% max is GM if your under 90% es. and you CAN USE mana pots if your under 80% ES. ( used to be 85 )

your putting Es sorc's all in one category. manyyyy different builds.

AND

i had no choice but to be defensive when you could stack + sorb me.... thats all that needed changing. trust me i want to be offensive. way more fun.

es lite sorcs are over 80%, 1 point es gets you like 83% with a non-block build if i remember right
and i do kinda just ignore cold sorcs...

so im talking about low % es fire sorcs (the build basically every good esfb on ladder uses)

and i never sorbed, i just used ~480 res on the vita and like 300 cold res on the es before that

LOL. this is why it was 85%es can use mana pots before. why i dont get this 80% change? your overcomplicating things. the rules make sense on pg. 1 EXCEPT for the limit on sc's cause i dont give a fuck what u use in your inventory on ladder.

its always been 80%, if your that worried about it just take off your hoto when you cast es on a lite sorc, or bo with a lidless so on your cta/lidless side your @ 80%
its never been a big deal though
