Dodge rule: Invoked after 3 days by the CHALLENGER, IF and ONLY IF the CHALLENGED PERSON never replied to the initial pm. Always send a private message to your opponent on the day you issued a challenge against him, or else the dodge rule will not be granted to you!

Forfeit rule: After 5 days, no matter what the situation is, a duel is voided and if deemed necessary, the win is granted to one of the opponents, at the admin's discretion (if someone was stalling the duel, and the other was available and ready etc.).

Challenge rule: The winner of a challenge has priority in his next challenge. The person who loses will have to wait 1 full day before challenging again, allowing the others to challenge him, to avoid those situations when people challenge immediately after their duel, consequently not giving a chance to the lower ranked players to move up.
This rule applies for re-challenges as well, meaning u don't have to wait 3 days to re-challenge the same opponent, you can do it after 1 day.

Inactivity: If your last seen status is 14 days or more, you will be automatically removed from this ladder, even if you haven't been challenged

Spam: Don't do it

I dislike this.
Should all be the same to keep the flow of ladder the same.
Lessens bottlenecks, forces defenses.

This isn't a bad idea. I personally think a "1 day" rechallenge rule is in the best interest of the this BvB ladder....when reset hits the number of people on this ladder will probably explode.

I remember back then dueling the same guy over and over because the two spots above me were pending for a long ass time was annoying.

But, there seems to be a limit on how long a duel can be pending for (I'm assuming 5? I haven't been here in awhile) so if that's the case a "1 day" rechallenge rule seems most appropriate.

Just my 2 cents.

That wouldn't bog things down too bad.

A slight bottleneck at the top 3 would make people really have to fight for the top spots.
Could slow it down a lot.

If there was going to be a bottleneck it should be for #1 only like you just said.
That may work good dude.
But to bog down the entire top 3 spots would be bad imo.

I'm down for whatever i guess.
