I doubt anyone would really get confused from "Only one person may gear between duels but both are aloud to gear between sets. Each player still gets a maximum of 2 gears per set and once between sets" Or something like that didn't think about it to much yet.

Yeah that sounds good, because one person gearing between duels will prevent the counter gear.

Its one gear allowed during a set I believe. But besides that it sounds good.
