Dueling isn't always teams.. and taking elemental chars completely out limits what's going to be on a ladder
When dueling first started in pubs I remember everyone sitting in town chillin while the 2 who agreed went out lol, that's old school shit really and wished it wasn't just gm rules and just good mannered overall
Edit: btw you're not going to do 700 mb damage lol
With 3 MB claws 2/3/3 you can hit 350 MB very easily with proper setup. + amp = 700 ~ MB (Not hard to switch to gavel and amp while they're stunned)
Yes, I remember, people would say "Ok Jlzm g bro" "Ok gd" "Gd" "g" "Gd"
I don't care for ladders, D2 should be about having fun, the truly best duelists know who they are, they don't need ladders to prove it.
The best duelists I can name have never really been on ladders/ didn't care for them.
I used to pride on D2 when I was like 13-18, I can't see how a grown man could really care to PROVE to OTHERS than himself he's accomplished.
The only reason I post on people is because THEY pride, and I like to see them feel anguish/ deflate their egos because THEY ask for it.
I would never post on people if everyone was GM (Good mannered, GM in the old days didn't mean "Omg you can't use tgods if you're using an soj because maras makes you OP and ww makes you not able to use a wiz because lol), GM meant don't jump juve mod hack and don't be a prick who NKS/ rages.
Now, as with anything, it's turned into a pride fest, and a huge reason why many quit.
