to win, he has to be on your screen, ( barbs dont have range ) so he couldn't possibly be avoiding you if he wanted to kill you. perhaps u had a namelock so its strategically smart to make you let go of it by using the map to your advantage.

I see a lot of spam in this thread as is, a lot of it coming from active/mediator/trusted/etc, highly regarded users arguing amongst eachother in the thread when it could be taken to a PM.

the only users I'd let mediate for me would be vErT/mew/egardner/marvel. anyway, I was just criticizing what a mockery of a list you guys have here.

how does one become trusted/active/mediator, what is required to get on the list?

yes they would...they can use hoto / cta or wc weapons...the rule is for every char, not just every char but barbs...
