its still gonna be a GM melee ladder. gm melee rules all still apply. lifetap has always been considered bm in melee anyways so it doesnt change gm rules of not using grief etc.

GM Melee Rules as they've been for almost 9 years have been tap allowed.
If you're going to change the rules you can't call it GM Melee. It's a non-tap ladder.
If you don't specifically label it, anyone that actually has had GM Melee characters before will spend their time and efforts to get a decent exile on ladder (not an easy feat) only to be called out for being BM the second they go to duel like they've been dueling 'forever' in their books. Then they'll probably sell their zealer for being called 'bm' by 'ignorant ladder trash'.

The above scenario actually happened to be when I first started making 'Gm Melee Ladder's on ladder in 2014.


tl;dr. If you don't only want new and inexperienced, easy to beat people in your ladder, just include the term 'Non-Tap' so as not to piss off or confuse actual GM Melee Vets.

ofcourse Non-tap will be specified in the rules on the GM ladder, because its always been bm on ladder. if "experienced gm melee vets" dont read the post then thats on them.

This is the 5th season I've made a GM Melee Ladder on Ladder, and the 4th where Tap was allowed.

So you must be quoting either from some unspoken code of ladder dueling conduct or simply discounting any melee ladder I've made

usually it has to be that both parties agree to a lifetap duel, which is not the case in your ladders. one party cannot decide for both players if its going to be tap or not, it has to be mutual

And I made sure to stress this ladder that while the rules state that tap is ALWAYS allowed in zvz, that not everyone can afford or even find a decent exile on ladder so they should be polite and ask first.
I know I always asked.

yeah and thats my issue, lifetap should not always be allowed in zvz. whether someone asks or not, if its always allowed then you can force any zealer to tap duel regardless of if they agree to it or not.

Lee has no respect for melee... or the rules that make it what it is..


Lee host the bm zeal ladder like last season yall can grief each other with dracs and exiles on

you have absolutely no idea what youre talking about. im against lifetap and griefs... trying to make a gm melee ladder without the bm lifetap thats in this one. thats all
