yeah, on ladder alot of melee players consider lifetap bm, i know on nl it varies because you guys got different builds, but nontap duels for everyone makes things better imo

Much less interesting and more predictable.

if you gotta rely on lifetap/rng to win to be interesting/unpredictable then sure.

i'd rather the better character win, as its suppose to be.

non tap duels will be. Prudence.Stormshield.Viso.Fools Duels lol Anyone that doesnt want to spend the coin to get a decent fools/viso will not be interested enough in entering the ladder anyhow. We will see what happens half the people who made characters sold them right away anyway. I only got to fight half of them.

I spent quite a bit on my exile last season and didnt get to use it at all because no one had a tap build. Which resulted in me just going pure non tap which got boring.

because exile is meant for pvm lol. lifetap in pvp is bm (unless both agree)

and ss/prud/viso is definitely not the best nor the only build either


we had a good melee community even before this ladder started halfway through last season, lifetap is bm so we didnt use it, and then when this ladder started we stopped playing our zealers and sold them because lifetap was allowed. thats why it was dead

Was allowed because of rules that have been established for years but I dont think I seen 1 tap duel besides mine and vraels. I do admit I came in late in last season, I also dont care if there is or isnt tap. Aslong as there is GM melee to fight im happy.

i had a tap set up and was always best by people by people who were pure non tap. i had to sacrifice stats for different set ups to have tap available. not sure how i feel about this lol

When you planning on doing the new melee ladder? Like in a month?

ill start it this weekend probly.

If you want tap to be disallowed just make sure you label it as a non-tap ladder and not a GM melee ladder.
