u need 108str with faith gmb on bow side, or ok lets say u dont use gmb, u need 103str for dungos. so swap over to jav side, titans give u 20str, so u have 123str minimum.
you are now 23str away from using that shield, or 69life. if you use a -15req jewel, then obv you are only 10str away, which is 30 life.
so if u use a -15req jewel in the shield, its better than a jmos, if you dont use a -15req jewel, then its not.
either way, any shield without deflection mod is only used in one case, a glass or semi-glass build in which u already have mass dex. these shields are discussed heavily in this build here by manduki -

It takes a mediocre amount of skill to play zon. Much less zvz. there is no chain locking no fast pace, the only real trick is grabbing a namelock with fury when they run away put mouse into bottom panel and hitting w to shoot ga as they are running around the next corner.
There are 3 hotkeys involved.

Try out nvn or svs if you want a hard duel that is class vs class. When you can explain to me what C/t is and when to use it on a toon that uses enigma and how one might use it on a barb necro sin or blizzer, how to wsg spear on a necro / nado on a druid. Then talk big.
don't pretend to know shit and hide behind a bastardized for of zon vs zon where you can't use a fort because three people didn't like chilling armor proccing so they made it the devil even though it seemed that chilling armor was the only reason they would lose, yet they would lose every time.

i like you, but theres much more to zvz, and ive never seen u duel zvz here, only come and talk shit from time to time.
im def not agreeing that zvz requires the most skill or anything, but it def requires alot and theres more than 3 hotkeys. the best zons on here don't run either. and we all talk about gear and oh wow look at these godly gloves but a 200fg zon can easily rape a 10k zon, i doubt thats true for most of the other char v char leagues.

Zon vs Zon is about the most skill-based, balanced dueling left in d2. Everyone has similar gear, and you arn't buffed up with battle orders, you can't Auto-Aim without getting caught... etc. Enigma and telestomping other characters has ruined the rest of d2
