My bvb experience:
Ive been playing Diablo 2 since classic d2, must of been around 13-14 years old and im 24 now.... The first char i made was a Barbarian and i didnt even make a diffrent charactor untill about 2007 or so lol. Ive always bvb'd but i wasent to well known untill about 2003 or so when i started dominating public bvb games with my barb NEW_YORK. Ever since 2003 ive been able to hold a rank of top 5 on the realm (meaning there was only a few barbs just as good as me) and manage to still keep that rank till today (2010). I was ranked #1 on the realm for madd long but that was just from people talking...there was really no way to prove this because there wasent many tournaments i new of to attend at that time...But i could call out any1 and garentee victory. Now there was one other barb at this time that was very good and people also considered him #1.. this is really where my bvb history took off...his name was llblizzconll . A very bad manner person with a very strong barb. At first when we first started dueling he did defintly win more...thats what bvb is all about..its not if u can kill the person obveously..its how many times u win overall..and for the most part he always had more wins in the begining. About 3 weeks or so later after meeting this kid i steped my game up and owned him publicly in front of alot of people. Anyone who knows melee dueling can tell you about the NEW_YORK vs Blizzcon days...shit was insane you literly could of sold tickets to our fights. So in my prime i defintly won more and was considered to be They best bvb on the west realm (always nl). Funny thing is everyone found out advenutly that "blizzcon" who goes by many names "matt" "jay" "kane" was actully using healing potions from normal diffaculty durring his bvb matches LOL. Was a known fact, he got caught many times..so who knows actully if he really did win all those fights against me b4 i was in my prime. It was a very fun time tho and people didnt stop talking about us for years. And just so everyone does no "blizzcon" is litertly they biggist scammer on diablo 2. He will steal from anyone but hes known for gaining trust with you and then robing you blind when u least expect it and many more scamming tactics. Hes rob'd many of his friends and obveously still does scam today. he Has hundreds of jsp multies and to keep you up to date his account on west is "pKs"
Has the char name "matt" his druid and "noob" his barb. beware of him, Hes a really twisted person and obveously has alot of personality issues ect. But anyway back to bvb!!
As the years past i started privite bvbing with the pro's and my builds kept getting crazyier and crazier. What i mean by this is my builds became very unique. NEW_YORK was orginaly a str8 max damage build like most people choose when they build a bvb he was just perfected very well. I took max damage to a whole nother level with my barb New-York having way over 3k max with grief. And i even kept my top 5 rank n pulled off using a frekin set helm with my barb N_Y (guillaumes) I was always able to make strange builds work that you would think would not hold up..expiesly vs the other top ballers on the realm that i dueled daily. I messed around with New-York and N_Y but i must of made over 15+ bvbs and spent most of the time on my main barb NEW_YORK. The last build i made with NEW_YORK was a 40k defense build. And im talking with a zbug fort not a zbug stone or bug prudence...str8 masteries eth upd arreats ect. No one ever herd of a 40kdef build at that time and still of corse i kept my top 5 rank. Making this barb really opened up alot of doors for me. I fell in love with masteries. See any1 can use 37 32020s and do well..it takes a real Pro to master a masteries build and do extremly well. Now this is about the time when i got hacked and guess who hacked me lol..Mr Blizzcon...acted like a jsp med when i was new to jsp and i fell for it. Long story but he wound up stealing my account. did that stop me from bvbing? of corse not..im so well respected in the bvb world on west that in 24 hours i had a fuking full pimped up godly bvb. My friends hooked me up i didnt even have to ask. Now this is where "oM" comes in. Getting hacked was probly the best thing that ever happened to me..its funny how things work out. I took NEW_YORK's old 40kdef build and tweeked it with alot more ar and life and found they perfect ar-def balance..and when i say PERFECT i mean PERFECT. i replaced 2x of the 9x masterys i orginaly had with 132-45's, lost the rends put on some dracs lvled to 97+ and pulled off 38kdefense with 22.5 k ar+ with around 5.6+ life. This build is just another example of my bvb genious. You would think 37 32020s would own this ect. Not only did i continue to keep my top 5 rank but i started a fuking mastery trend on west nl. I shit you not, in a madder of 2-3 months there were about 10+ "oM" clones..many people copied my build and a few of them were actully gfg. One of them you might of herd of is "laKer" my buddy will. He was just as good as me and if u look at the tournament records im sure people would say he was even better lol. But i was right up there with him the entire time. Reason he turned out so well was because he actully found a rare jewel similiar to mine and was able to perfect the build like me. But just think about how insane this situation is..do you see how big of a impact i have on west nl bvb. I made a build and still till today there are clones of my barb oM who are still kicking ass. Now i dont no if this is true..but my friends told me ever since i started making mastery builds..mastery charms actully went up on jsp and on online stores LMAO. i wouldnt doubt it. Anyway backing up a little bit. When that dork blizzcon aka matt aka jay aka sad virgin with a bad social life stole my acc. i lost both my NY names NEW_YORK and New-York thats why i was forced to make oM (the orginal mobsta). I did actully over a year get back both my names NEW_YORK and New-York he must of let the chars expire. NEW_YORK is my ele druid and New-York is my bvc now. So now every 20 or so games i have to here " wait wasent NEW_YORK a barb" lol and i have to explain the story...
So oM joined every jsp tournament and ladder i could...i came in the top 5 of corse in the ladders my guild leader ran... out of a bunch of gg barbs...remember i never claim to be number 1 on the realm. People always gave me that name. I try and be as humble as i can and the truth is that there are barbs out there that are just as good. But i can bet you there builds are not on my leval. I destroy 37 32020s, zbug arreats users with masterys like its nothing :P so as of now im in they biggest tournament ive ever been in with all the melee guilds on jsp like 54 elite barbs and still ranked in the top 5. Now oM's build witch is also known as the "clone build" because of all the people who copied it...its gfg but for this new tournament with all the guilds (KOB tourn) i new i had to step my game up a lil, so i fucked around with my charms a bit and instead of having the perfect ar-def balance i created the best "balance" i like to say in generl...of not only ar-def but ar-def-damage and life i had 22kar 36.3 k def 5.8 life 1.7 damage. Worked great but there was only 1 problem. THOSE DAMN ROK VISIONARY BARBS WERE FUKING OWNING EVERYONE. So just to make sure i stayed in the top 5 i switched my build up recently yet again and made a visionary barb. All those gg rok visionary barbs have 27kar 33kdef witch is fuking amazing and i have to give a shout out to xSxHxIxNxEx @ jsp he really perfected that build and he basicly was the main reason i switched my build up after he shat on me many times. But yah they all had 27k ar+ and used 1 soc 2 barb skill visionarys with battles orders ect. So i started looking for visionarys got a few nice ones...but u no me i like pulling off the impossible...i got a visionary with no barb skills and i was told by basicly all the pro bvbers " YOU CANT PULL OFF A VISIONARY WITH NO SKILLS" HAHA so what did i do..i pulled it off..i got a 2 soc high def visionary with other gg stats and put some fukin elite jewels in it (check profile for pic) and took a month out switching around charms and i made a crazy visionary barb witch is completly difffrent then any other gg visionary barb ive dueled. And that is what i use atm and i have no plans on switching it. I really hope this blog showed you my dedacation to bvb. I do consider my self a bvb legend for 3 simple reasons. 1. Most importantly my dedacation to bvb. 2. obveously my top 5 rank that ive been able to hold on to since 03 or so. and 3 people have said i was a legend many times. I try to remain humble and i respect all the tru old school bvbers. Ive been privite bvbing for years now i have so many friends that bvb and i am now in the guild KMBvB witch is perfect for me. The other members are bvb legends from diffrent era's from even b4 my time...im talking like 08 and shit theve been privite bvbing.. so i fit right in.
Quick jsp history:
I never felt the need to make a jsp acc. I always had the items i needed, and was completly satisfied
Till i herd there were bvb tournaments and ladders and if there was a bvb event..shiiiit i was going be apart of it. so i joined in 08 on my orginal acc "oldschoolbvber"
(oldschoolbvber@jsp was stolen along with my orginal acc from that snake, so i made ggbvb)
Rugzy @jsp was a very good friend of mine, we bvbd all the time and he wanted me to join ggbvb guild asap..i stayed in the guild for madd long up untill one night durring one of the bvb ladders when rugzy cursed out 2 respected gm bvbers hosting the ladder and pulled some real childish shit. He wanted to leave the ladder because w/e reason and basicly told me, if i didnt leave with him that we werent cool no more" meanwhile he didnt ask other ggbvb members to leave.. wtf. That was his problem..i wanted to stay on the ladder, lol i was like in 3rd place or sumtin n it was near the end. real immature shit. So before he had a chance to kick my out of the guild or just say any more negative comments to me i decided to leave ggbvb and join kmbvb right away, like the next day..and ive been there ever since, i am i proud member..There really old school like me, im really happy with the guild
BVB IN GENERL:
I had to finish off this blog with a little bit of information about bvb and my opinion about it in generl...
Me personally i think its they best pking on diablo 2...just wait....let me explain
1. You cant hack/mod and its normaly 100 percent good manner in the privite games (hacking and mods make pking in generl fuking retarted)
2. the builds are endless!....theres so much you can do with a bvb..so many secrets waiting to be reveled.. (theres not always so much you can do with a caster)
3. For the people who say "ooh bvb is boring" lol that obveously means you never built a strong gg bvb...because if your both gg the duels get fucking I N T E N S E...(and thats coming from a dude who also duels with a 200fcr fire sorc, ele druid and bvc as well) if anything i can see zeal being boring...BVB?...N E V E R.
4. For the people who say " zzz it takes no skill" lol obveously not as much as a caster but lets see you make a solid build that can hold up againt some of the best melee duelers on the realm ...and i got some ww tactics that will make a dudes head spin.... so yes no wear near as much skill as a caster true...but it does req some skill, and most importantly patients and dedacation.
trust me people when your one of the best bvbers on the realm u tend to have other rich friends that are very good with there pkers of choice as well and ive turned a few of them in to sereous privite bvbers <3
Just look deeper into this...the barbarian as boring as he looks is defintly the best char in generl....a bvc... hard to hell to learn but when hes gfg hes one of the best pkers there is to vs all...a barb is the best mfer ....can hold the most magic find...has BO so it will rarly ever die in like a 8 person game and has a frekin skill thats ment for magic finding to top it all off LOL....and hmm...what char did blizzard decide to keep for diablo 3? they only char from d2 its keeping?...a barb tyvm
to conclude this blog i just wanna give a shout out to those real fukin bvbers out there.....
