Yes, I think it would only be fair to the person who made the challenge to get the rank. Here is why I think so:

- Asking to be removed from the ladder after being challenged is the same as a dodge or a forfeit to me. If you're on the ladder, you have the obligation to duel when you are challenged. Failure to do so will make you lose your rank.
- It sucks for the guy who has waited days for the other person to reply and find out that person wants to be removed from the ladder. Total waste of time for him.
- People should not wait to be challenged before asking to be removed from the ladder. It is disrespectful for the other people on the ladder.

So I think we should allow the challenger to get the rank when the person challenged asks to be removed from the ladder.

Yes but what if haven't been full 3 days then?

Well the current rules don't allow forfeits so since they didn't duel then he wouldn't get the rank based on that rule. But if they had to wait a full 3 days then it would just be a dodge so he could get the rank via dodge rule.

I know this will seem weird coming from me since im the one that always bitches about forfiets... but if the guy has had to wait for 3 days even if its technically not midnight or w/e I think he should get the rank. 1 or 2 days no but he's been tied up and not able to challenge anybody else for 3 days I think he earned it

Territory removed himself off ladder but it was posted May 17 9:50 ( west time) O.o soo it shouldn't be rule as dodge right?


If was full 3 days yea..he should earned it.

A full 3 days would be on the 18th it's been 2. I did the update and took it into account and didn't appoint is as a dodge.

I thought so It bring me up since a lot of people forefit match on united and other ladders.

It was almost same case with ickod and d2child. ~.~

It is may 18 in 2 minutes. Like Steve said, even though it has not been exactly a full 3 days, I had to wait 2 days and a half at least to find out this guy wanted to be removed from the ladder.

It was posted 7:50 pm western time and whatever time it is..Soo techinally it's not full 3 days yet.
