Don't know too much about Walk and what not. I honestly don't care. It is a 15 yr old game, whether you closet mod or not doesn't really matter to me. If I cared whether people were modding I wouldn't pub. Imo everyone needs to chill the fuck out.
If they think you mod and don't want to go through the trouble of arguing with you it is simple. Just don't duel you?

I think it doesn't really matter if he mods or not.
That being said I will say that the amount of money he spends on d2 has no correlation with his ability to get hidden mods. A youtube video could show him how to do it step by step.
As for the money, I have easily spent thousands on d2 because I like to have good gear and I don't pvm/trade because it is unreliable.

What it comes down to is entertainment. You spend your money on things that entertain you and we spend ours on things that entertain us.
You wouldn't go into an arcade and not buy tokens. Just like I will buy my gear online, and refuse to deal in unperms :D
