I see it as a great help to be honest.
It is working as intended and allowing lower ranks a chance to break into the top tier.
It forces us to defend once in a while instead of having an overly offensive ladder that is contantly locked up.
That and being forced to defend is....fun!
Adds another dynamic to the ladder.

What slows us down is pending duels.
3 of the 4 pending are over the 3 day mark (myself included).

I see it as serving it's purpose too
I checked the ladder at like 530 yesterday b4 I went ona date with my ex
I wake up this morning and a guy above me is opened up but ive already been challenged by a guy below me. Now if the guy 2 spots below challenged, I would have to defend. The rules allows me to challenge up.

(EVERYONE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY)

Dodge rule: Invoked after 3 days by the CHALLENGER, IF and ONLY IF the CHALLENGED PERSON never replied to the initial pm. Always send a private message to your opponent on the day you issued a challenge against him, or else the dodge rule will not be granted to you!

Forfeit rule: After 10 days, no matter what the situation is, a duel is voided and if deemed necessary, the win is granted to one of the opponents, at the admin's discretion (if someone was stalling the duel, and the other was available and ready etc.).

Challenge rule: The winner of a challenge has priority in his next challenge. The person who loses will have to wait 24 hours before challenging again, allowing the others to challenge him, to avoid those situations when people challenge immediately after their duel, consequently not giving a chance to the lower ranked players to move up.

Inactivity: If your last seen status is 14 days or more, you will be automatically removed from this ladder, even if you haven't been challenged

Spam: Don't do it.

i found a huge counter on the 9/9 x 2 SA builds that been topping this ladder for Ap builds. been testing shit on open for weeks, and i found a winnar.
