Swirls are way worse than in lod, you can walk away from smite foh, or from cano.

Literally gergo said that smite foh is not that worth because you can now walk away from it, the only d2r video he uploaded was from a pub, you can still catch people off guard with the combo but against someone who knows what he's doing it won't really help.
Also i don't know why you're implying people are making rules to get advantages, the game is a different game from lod so it's fine to try and rebalance rules when there are literally new things in pvp.
