I broke the rules in my match against tonight, whether it was unintentional is unfortunately impossible to prove but I 100% mishandled the situation overall; it's only fair to assume the worst in this case. Slownoma agreed to finish the match, which we did, but I don't want or deserve special treatment. I will be DQing myself and removing myself from the tournament, PvPing now holds the tournament pot.

While we appreciate the transparency, idk man. Sounds like you had your standard setup on, forgot to swap armor out maybe tourney gear.

I’m pretty sure not a single person in the tourney uses the same gear for both the melee ladder as well as the tourney. Seems like a little mistake, esp if starting in pub game. If the round(s) you won with prudence we’re struck out or given to slow, I think it would be fair if you stayed in. Just my two cents, maybe others have a different opinion?

I'd agree. I hate this happened man. I know you feel badly enough to remove yourself, but we know it was an honest mistake.

No matter how you spin it, its my responsibility to have the correct gear on. It honestly looked really bad, I probably wouldnt believe myself either if the tables were turned. My mistake, I own it. The whole situation could have been handled differently by myself.
