We were just on testing it. It appears animations in general cannot cancel. (Tried with block / zon dodge / Swirls, mb with and without being held down)
That doesnt mean you get instant stuck vs. something like mb alone. Those "few frames between attacks" are actually all you need to get out of most situations, as most pvpers can attest to.
Think of FHR animations working like your dueling vs a pure leap barb (before people consistently single weapon swap teled potentially nulling a leap entirely)
Those frames between the next leap kb + your fhr + your faster can, and will randomly get through when just holding down teleport. It may extremely differ given ping however.
Now given a single swirl on mb + wof's, yes, you will literally not move at all b/c 4 frame stuns >> any fhr + fcr ever. But in 1v1 vs a sin where your not trying to run up and wsg nado them mid lock / traps, its typically not as hard to side step traps while in mb and get that 1 teleport that you need to run away. It doesnt mean the sin cant 5 stack ls, get a shadow mb on you, and given 1 unlucky teleport you instantly get lit / even die because you cant move out of the traps however... esp if this is something like trap vs nec, given the summon stack double hitting piercing attacks glitch, i literally 1 stack killed a poor nec with nothing more than a single mb and 5 traps, just letting him die in a 1v1 scenario lol
