We're not talking about the 90%, we're talking about a specifically balanced playing field between even players. Everything you just specified is class specific. Due to a variety of game mechanics (fhr/fcr animations, skill range, skill damage, skill mechanics etc etc) certain classes have a large advantage over other classes. Yes a good nec will beat an average druid. That doesn't mean it's not a massive adv. A good druid wins 10/10 times vs even the best nec (hell we'll even say 9-1 just to count in the possibility of a fluke kill). I don't even play ghosts and I can assure you there isn't a vita nec on east that would beat me and a small handful of players that would even be worth dueling on an mb nec and I by no means am a god tier player. You get somebody on a ghost that is an elite player they are not losing to a nec. End of discussion.
In general, a ghost>nec or any caster for that matter
maybe so, but i've seen between two god level players such matchups flopped on their head.
on d2pk botan nvded down some pretty high level druids that were known for placing well in tournaments. he lost sometimes also. but he won ft5's in this well known imbalanced matchup.
because HE UNIQUELY plays a certain way that creates situations to cause damage that others dont. not all high level players think/play the same, and some think of creative solutions to age old problems.
theres no matchup in d2 that's truely set in stone. it's hard. infact too hard to ask of any player normally. but isn't that what makes what they do so incredible to begin with? that it is so rare?
those few exceptions exist. i myself actually am much better at nvd than dvn. (this is partially due to my inexperience actually doing dvn because no necro ever wanted to dvn with me so i always ended up in nvd) but some people actually play different
and thus change the matchup. no doubt that they will still not be able to do this 100% of the time and druid will typically either win or have a good score in the match. but don't count somebody out just because of what character they play. the people who do that have always historically been the kids who get embarassed the hardest.
