Update Rules
GENERAL RULES:
Banned Character Classes:
- Auradin Paladins
- Summon Necros
- Orb Sorcs
- Games must be made in nightmare ( nm )
- No third party programs - result in ban from ladder
- All games a ft5 ( first to 5 )
- Character must not exceed lvl 49
- Both parties must say Go to begin the round
- Can only challenge someone up to 2lvls higher than you
- 2 days to accept challenge
- No Traps / Missiles / Curses / Attacks of any kind may be casted prior to your opponent saying 'Go'
- Towning or Teleporting passed Flavie and Bridges in case of a Bridge Map results in a loss (however being pushed in town via Mind Blast / Leap / Telekinesis is not just come back out)
- If you accidentally town, immediately come directly back out, otherwise this will result in a loss
- Do not leave town once you die
- Do not cast anything or use any aura once you die (IE: Oak, Shadow, Golem, Mediation, etc)
- Ties are null duels
- naked killing will result in a disqualification!
- You may stack Mana Potions/arrows in the moor only if both players agree otherwise this may not be done
- Refusal to GMOD Test or show inventory / weapon swap will result in a disqualification
- Cube bo and buff is allowed (cube must stay in inventory aka losing 4x sc bonus)
- Recasting is allowed
- Max resistance of any element is 85% (Exceptions for hotspurs - necro and zon)
- Max absorb of any element is 20%
- When using a combination of items to absorb do not exceed 80 Maximum Resistances / 20 Absorb to any single element (80/20 is allowed on all chars, 81/19 is not, 85/10 is not, etc, no more than 80% max with no more than 20% sorb)
- Life replenish is capped at 25 (see barbarian rules for single exception)
- A maximum of one poison small charm per inventory
- No use of houses
- No remaking of character mid-tournament ( This includes tokening ) - If you token to maxblock or make char new name etc etc you will start at bottom of ladder.
- No use of life tap
- Will keep a running spam count ( mods will decide when to give spam counts / when enough is enough and you deserve a vacation from the ladder )
CLASS SPECIFIC RULES:
Sorceress Specific Rules:
- May use mana pots if es% is under 80%
- No + Maximum Resistance to any element or absorb gear when using Energy Shield
- Max lvl 1 base ThunderStorm
- Insight is forbidden with ES
Necromancer Specific Rules:
- Bone Wall is banned
- Bone Prison is allowed versus characters that can teleport
- All Curses are allowed except Iron Maiden, Life Tap and Decrepify
- No corpse skills are allowed
- Hotspurs are allowed (cannot be combined with fire golem)
Druid Specific Rules:
- Hotspurs is not allowed
- none of that vine that heals ur life/mana (only vine allowed is poison creeper)
- FRW max %150
- Grizzly Forbidden
- Max 1 wolf
Assassin Specific Rules:
- Dual Claw Assassins cannot use Absorb or + Maximum Resistance of any Element (Exception: One raven and tgods are allowed)
- Assasins that do not use traps as a source of damage may use a Dwarf/Raven (must be base level 1 trap skill used for stunning only)
Barbarian Specific Rules:
- 2x Raven Frosts allowed on non-stacking Barbarians (250 or more total cr is considered stacking)
- Namelock WW is forbidden
- Leap is forbidden
Amazon Specific Rules:
- Slow Missiles is not allowed
- Hotspurs are allowed
- 2x Raven Frosts allowed on non-stacking amazons (250 or more total cr is considered stacking)
- FarCast is Forbidden
Paladin Specific Rules:
- Use of a resistance aura during a duel is forbidden
- Holy Bolt Is Banned
- Prayer / Meditation / Cleansing CANNOT be used if Prayer has more than one BASE POINT
- No holy freeze vs ias based character

The correct way to join

Challenges:
- When challenging on the ladder, post all information for both participants and send a personal message to the player you challenged ASAP. You must send a PM for it to be a valid challenge. You may not challenge someone who is already engaged in a previous challenge
- When challenging, you may only challenge someone up to 2 places ahead of you on the ladder. This does not mean you have to, but is advised if you wish to climb faster. The only time this rule changes is if the player two spots ahead of you has stated they will be away or on vacation. In this case you may challenge a player up to 3 places above your own. If the challenger wins, the challenger will take the place of the player he challenged. If the challenger loses, both players remain in their previous positions
- After a player has been challenged, they must accept the first challenge that comes to them. You may not challenge someone who is already engaged in a previous challenge. All other challenges will be pushed aside until the first match is over. After losing a challenge to a user a grace period comes into effect. The victor of a match does not have to accept your challenge until 72 hours has passed. However, if they chose, they may ignore this grace period and accept
Inactivity / The Dodge Rule:
After a challenge has been posted, it will stay open for 3 days. If the person defending does not accept the challenge, or the match does not take place within 3 days of the initial post, the challenger will automatically win the match due to the "dodge rule". The challenger will need to provide proof of pm sent ( screenshot ). A 24 hour extention may be granted given reasonable explanation of needing one if asked before the 3 days is up. I will be extremely strict on this, 3 days and I nothing posted from either person it will be ruled a DODGE not null. ( Challenged person it is your responsibility to defend your spot, if you dont post or answer pm's you failed to do this. )
Null duels may be called in rare cases ( i.e. ) 2 play pm tag and just cannot be on at same time.
You may not challenge someone who is already engaged in a previous challenge.
Posting Correct Screen shots:
The winner of a challenge must post at least two screen shots of the duel if asked
One screenshot showing left-click skills, with map and time shown
One screenshot of message log showing at least 1 kill, with time shown
