that seems odd to me.. so if sum1 random enters. and calls out #1 holder the #1 holder instead of being sent to number 2 is then sent to the end of the line? to be last place.. that dont seem like a ladder to me that seems like king of the mountain.

in essence doing nothing at all could earn u second place.

Not exactly.
You can only challenge up to 2 positions above yourself.
So the most you can drop is also 2 places.

So rocco at #11 can only challenge #10 or #9
