I will have to come to the defense here.
Knowing a lot about mods does not mean you use them. I have helped someone figure out how to use mods because they didn't know anything about scripting and didn't know what they were doing.
Mods are simple. If you know your way around a script you can easily edit a mod to hide an overlay. You could even set an hkey to instantly display/hide the overlay for taking s/s's. If you can successfully edit and run a bot, you can edit an already created mod script.
If he were talking about creating a mod that would be a bit different. Editing scripts = easy, creating scripts = hard [with no experience]

I don't use Nightlight while dueling any ways but I wouldn't even care if I did 95% of all GM top ladder duelists used it ON DUELING LaDDERs and that's a fact
