RULES UPDATE 10.03.2022Yo Everyone! This is the last rule update until patch 2.4.
In DCL General Rules following has been changed:IV. FORBIDDEN ITEMS5. Maximum number of Cold RBF is 2.
This is effectively giving everyone +20 cold res. It is also getting DF in lane with most of the rare orbs (excluding the best ones which will still stay on top) which will help with balancing in the future. `
"Blizzard on its own is very strong not only because of her very high damage itself, but also just by her presence hindering enemies by forcing them to stack a lot of resistances, absorbs and forcing them to stay together using Salvation aura most of the time. We expect Blizzard to still perform very well against Melee Teams and keep them on tip of their toes but will have to rely on teammates more."
V. FORBIDDEN SKILLS9. Amazon - can invest in Slow Missle (SM) no more than 1 point. It is allowed to use SM only against Ele teams in 3v3 and 4v4.We're baning SM in 1v1 and 2v2. In the near future, we are probably going to extend this ban to 3v3 aswell.
11. Sorceress - FB and Blizz can invest in Energy Shield (ES) no more than 1 point.As we experienced newcomers with this interesting builds, Sorceress in 3v3 and 4v4 modes especially, are already very durable. 95ES builds while offering lower damage output, offer a lot more survivability. This in long term is dragging out matches to last longer. Paired with Meditation aura and Holy Bolt this build is sadly too strong to exist in our League. We are open for more testing of 95ES in the future like restricting RL, block chance, absorbs etc., but for now it shall remain banned entirely.
VII. DAMAGE REDUCTION (DR) Maximum amount of Damage Reduction is not limited. The exception is Druid Ele using Teleport: 8%The exception is Sorceress using Energy Shield: 8% against Ele Teams and 0% against Melee Teams is allowed.We feel that Druids using a tele with much slower FCR breakpoints than Sorceress, and without the added ES protection should not have a limited DR value. Especially with the recently unlocked Faith runeword.
Sorceresses, on the other hand, as character with the highest mobility, teleport, range, speed, damage and survivability in the league, especially with ES, which already works very well as a damage reduction additionally significantly magnifying with the Barbarian's BO - should not have access to this stat, in the same way as Druid does not have absorbs, due to the Cyclone Armor. Allowed 8% in Ele vs Ele matchups e.g. CoH.
IX. RESISTANCES (RES)Maximum Resistances are 85%.
The total sum of Resistance to Fire, Lightning and Poison is 205% and to Cold it's
235%.The exception is Necromancer:
maximum Fire Resistance is 90% and total Cold resistance is
285%.+10 CR - With 2x RBF limit, Blizz will not penetrate enemy resistances below the maximum 75% while the Salvation aura is on (previously ~ 58%, now ~ 78%). Any resist value above the current 225% has an effect only without this aura - increasing the chance of teams without a Paladin.
+5max FR - Necromancer's very low life means he can survive 40-50% less Fireballs than Paladins, Assassins, Barbarians who are also much faster at avoiding them. Unlike similar life pooled characters Amazon with Avoidance, Druid with Cyclone Armor and Teleport he lacks the abilities to mitigate the damage on similar level. Damage-wise he is also no threat for any Sorceress unlike Amazon or Druid. 90 max fire res + 1abs brings Necro at the level of survivability similar to other characters that use 85+1.
In DCL Detailed Rules following has been changed:DEFINITIONSI. TeamsEle - Team that includes Sorceress or Foh Paladin.
Melee - Team that does not include Sorceress or Foh Paladin.

3v3 RULES4. Melee Team playing against Ele Team is allowed to equip 90max res + 0 Absorbs instead of standard 85max res + 1 Absorb for each element.
`Alternative 90max + 0 abs that was already available in 4v4 mode also comes to 3v3. In terms of damage reduction there is barely noticable difference between 85+1 vs 90+0.`
4v4 RULES5. Ele Team with 2 Sorcs is not allowed to use Holy Bolt against Melee Team.
