2-3 warnings should be given. If it gets to a 3rd they should get dq'd for that round. 2 dqs = loss of set. Not very difficult

I'm prob the most lax on defensive play depending on the situation, but I legit witnessed a full life trap sin lay traps off screen vs a necro for 2+ hours. Should have at least dq'd him for a round if not the entire set.

warnings are going to be subjective and people don't want to DQ people they're friendly with, not hard to see why they don't work. people won't even call out defwhores after xx tourneys, you think they'll do it in the middle of one?

I feel like this would be abuseable.
if someone wins a lengthy first round, it would be in their interest to slow down the pace of the second game so they win the second round after the time limit.

although maybe there is a way to implement a time limit with some moderator input to avoid players trying to use the clock to their advantage.

edit: just know that any game that has a clock, has players using the clock to their advantage.
games with a timeover have the players in the lead trying to run the clock, games with sudden death have the player behind trying to run the clock

limit on mana belts amount per player could be an idea, may have people be more conservative but still be fun enough for healthy competition.

If time limit was introduced then I’m assuming higher life player after timer runs = winner of round? Probs only way it would work but could suck for cookie cutter peeps who don’t have fgs for max rep builds
