Thank god I'm not a press play DJ, then the last 3-4 years of hard work would be a complete waste, learning to mix and scratch etc. I have about $5000 invested in my setup and counting and can do it all on the fly while using a microphone. I'd never be caught dead playing music from an IPOD, that's not a REAL DJ.

I'll be using Rane turntables next year and timestamp vinyls (want to move up from DDJ's) so I can perfect my scratches.
