No. The challenge isn't Valid.
Didn't you start this ladder? You should know how that works.
The challenge isn't due yet and the dodge doesn't go through until then. So he is still in a challenge as of right now.

He has to call a dodge BEFORE the duel ends so it doesn't get a null.
