/e i replied to you before I looked over in the sorc v sorc ladder where I see there was some discussion re: orb build. In terms of dueling, if I were you I would take up that offer from iceydicey to FT5 him in order for a discussion / debate to occur relating to Orb sorc's. At the end of the day, you will see that while I was open to change the rules in this tournament it was based on a majority vote. I would typically never change the rules of a tournament except in extreme circumstances (which this _hotspurs_ was). I am imminently intending to remove players that have not completed duels and I want to move this tournament along and therefore I have to keep the door closed (and rule discussion is not appropriate at this stage).
In terms of discussion of rules I can only reiterate that only by opening people's minds can you change them and on that note if you truly want change take a step back and try their way (i.e. matches vs sorc's but not counted as ladder / tournament matches) or join D2A and continue the conversation there. I live in Ireland and in the last 24 hours a political party in Northern Ireland basically walked away from the table and flicked the proverbial bird. My view is that resigning / quitting / not being part of the community, will not change anything. My suggestion is - be a part of the community and look to change it from within. You might not get what you want but with all these changes to D2r alot of rules will imminently be up for discussion. As always I am open to change and different views and I do try to be helpful.
Finally, There is a cronic lack of Cold and Light Sorc's so if something can help those builds compete, great.
