A couple of tips on dueling since we've had some controversy recently. You reserve the right to demand your opponent take an s/s of their screen with whatever stipulations you require to satisfy yourself that they are not modding. You also have the right to request that someone look at your opponents gear, or request to see the gear yourself if your opponent is willing. (note: your opponent DOES NOT have to show YOU their gear, but they DO have to show to a referee if you suspect they are using something that is BM.)
You also have the option to type "........................................................" filling the entire chat box. This will drop most loaders from the game. YOU ARE NOT allowed to use a loader while you are dueling for a melee ladder challenge or competition! If you do not know how to load D2 without a loader please get in contact with me. I can assist you in getting a non-loader version of d2 up and running, and even instruct you in how to load with windowed mode. The reasoning for this, if it wasn't obvious, is that it's too easy to get tmc for things like ias (for non-pallies) and fhr, fbr when you are using a loader.
