Curious about this Meditation rule as its a bit bland.
From what I gather from the rules, I can Medi "for mana". All that's saying is that as long as my mana isn't 100% full I can have it active. Should be more specific.
IE: you can only Medi if you're out of mana potions.
Like right now I have 10x Bmanas in stash on my hdin and use them accordingly (minus FHR/resistance needs) because 53 mana is just statistically more valuable to me than 5 life. With this rule set I could consider using 20/17s just to put myself in a situation where I could abuse Medi more often.
Medi or no Medi is just better IMO. No one is really going to use it for mana, honestly. We already have rules in place to allow pooling/mana spotting if both parties agree. If I can Medi I can intentionally deny pools/spots for attrition because I will never run out of mana via Medi and I'll benefit from the rep at the same time.
It's really on the dueler. I'm going to agress on hdin for like every matchup (off the top of my head) other than Druid. The only factor is remaining HP. With that said, if (for example) Im HvTing, I've stomped a somewhat defensive sin the entire duel, and then managed to get away with 500 life while failing to kill, I'm going to play defensive (Medi or not) until I'm at a comfortable HP amount to stomp again. Literally the only thing Medi changes in this situation is the amount of time I'm waiting, reducing the amount of defensive play. If the sin is competent (again, Medi or not) he's going to push the issue and try to finish wth MB.
The only thing that changes is rather or not the dueler is playing defensive before its warranted, which has nothing to do with Medi.
Validating medi's use for "mana" is just silly. Idk, I'm fucking zooted atm, /cokeessay.
Opinions?
Straight up Medi allowed or not allowed is best IMO.
fuck medi lol it's retarded
