overpowered in what sense? all it does is add 115% defense and the only thing affected by that is multi shot which limited to 3 shots anyways

plus when you fort you sacrifice other things, it doesn't have 35% dr and 60% ias on top of chilling

Also chilling armor absorbs missles making whoever procs first in a retard fury duel wins.

This is NL, this ladder is full of people who have been dueling since 2004 (myself included lol multi alert!) and nobody here has an excuse to use 1.13 trash runewords over a real build.

what do you mean "also", as if he's right about it being overpowered, and i'm still wondering, in what sense? why would there be a fury duel going on in a zvz? you need to rethink your rules if THAT is the reason fort is a possible banned item

which good players cry about fortitude? the people who do cry about it are morons who are charging and throwing furys or players who don't understand d2 mechanics

also, 1.13 isn't out so if you're referring to fortitude when you say 1.13 then you're very ignorant, stupid and mistaken, it is a very good item and i feel bad for you that you don't see it as a real item and i feel bad for jsp that players like you are running (read: ruining) a ladder for a duel that was (once) great

Fort has been a shit armor since 1.10 and no real zvz players need to use it over time tested builds.

There are a lot of reasons duels could end up fury vs. fury... mostly because only new players get spooked when they are charged... maybe low arrows due to an attrition duel... maybe someone's a very aggressive player.

Fury can one shot people if they are using low DR, glass cannons, etc.


I'm a very respected forum moderator for a wc3 dota league as well as running these ladders.
I've never heard any complaints about my ladders, I'm pretty well respected for the fact I listen to what people ask for, and give it to them in the fairest way.

fort has never been a shit armor, the players using it are either bad or are misusing it, and nobody "needs" to use it, just like nobody "needs" to use a 160/60, it's just the best choice of armor

which forum are you a moderator of in which dota league? because i am a competitive dota player and i've never seen your name

and i'm not complaining about "your" ladder or how it's ran, because i really don't know, i'm complaining about your poor choice of rules and your even poorer justifications for them

i'm not on your ladder because i'm considering restarting east and since zvz is my favorite duel i was interested in whether or not there was any competition for it

nonetheless if it's a shit armor then why is it being banned? quite contradicting don't you think?

No one else except you has complained since I was *asked* to put this ladder up by the jsp staff and manduki/sutton/chased etc. It's not banned... it's not even brought up unless someone asks not to use it.
"Considering restarting" is not on the ladder, I'll have to bring in Paparick so I don't have to post on this shit site more than needed if you continue to post without reading comprehension. :<

I won't be responding to any more of your erroneous opinions, since your entire point of "weh fort is banned" is null... use a fort all you like.

"allowed if both players agree" is the same thing as being banned because there's no reason for a non fort user to allow a fort user to use a fort

One minute you say it isnt overpowered, the next you say no non-fort user would allow someone else to use it. If it wasnt overpowered, why would they care?

because more people have your mentality and believe that it is overpowered versus shaft and 16060 zons rather than comprehension of the d2 mechanics and realize chilling is just dodgelock in a melee fight and a bit of defense

i didn't mean to be rude when i originally posted here, i was just upset that fort is essentially a banned item while in the mean time it's being called shitty, along with a few other rules that suck but it's not a big deal

I base my opinion on years of dueling zvz.
