Not a fan of Aow. I prefer American Barb duels.

You have to try Aow bvb bro. Its way more fun than regular bvbing just because regular bvb everyone uses grief, tooth/fort. Every Barb is the same gear and str glitch, its actually boring!

AOW is 45%Dr max, so less Dr, more focusing on raw dmg. only 10% OW capped. so only can use gore riders. No tooth, dracs for open wounding. No grief, no fort, no Prudence runeword armor.

Aow focus on your balancing your barb to perfection to be good. No mana potions, so you need to use angelics setup or 12% dmg to mana jewels. Rare armors, rare weapon or cruel weapons. Erep armors, Eth Steel Carapace, Templar might, black hades and so on. Also AOW, you must be able to see entire gear without str glitching gear. So we able to see every barbs gear and color in game, which is cool as fuck.

You should definitely to try it (Highly recommend) its 10x more fun than regular bvbing bro. If you are a barb lover and a real bvb. AOW is the best, because its all about balancing your AR, Def, Hp, Mana, dmg, and etc.

D2r is too expensive the gear, the only difference is graphics and stash sizing. D2 LOD, is still the legacy childhood classic game. Everything is cheaper and easier to get gear to enjoy dueling on our free time. Don't have to start from scratch and pay 10x the prices for gear vs D2 Lod

I hear ya bro. In d2r ww bp changed. Meaning ias jewels from gear impact ww breakpoints. It opened the door to new bvb setups and pvm setups. Lod and r are both good

Yes slight difference, but d2r gear is just way too expensive. Don't have time to start grom scratch getting level, gear and paying much higher prices to play the same game with just better graphics tbh. But definitely try Aow bvb with us bro. You'll love it.

I ve done it. It’s decent. I held out just like you. Your favorite game was remastered and you are ignoring it. You can get 3 18 20 scs for fairly cheap. Hardly anyone is using 32020 for those are currently currency and expensive. I have an aowish barb if you wanna duel tonight ? I don’t respect all of the aow rules which attack some of my elite items.

Aow uses Erep armors, Erep helms and elite fools weapons, so its much more elite items than just basic runewords like Grief, fort and unique toothrow armor. Tbh Aow is more of an elite bvbing duel. More gear choice options, more raw dmg with like no ow and balancing barb hp, mana, and everything. Way more harder than just the same regular builds as regular bvb. It shows you really need strong gear and good balancing to make a gfg aow bvb.

I just dont have time for d2r, I have items in D2 lod and it plays the same. im just gonna stick to it. Im working today to Sunday. Im free Mon/Tuesday for sparring in afternoon 1pm-730pm eastern time if it works for you. I show you how fun aow is when we spar.

Most people don’t have the time anymore. LoD is largely inactive, while D2R consistently has active public games with new players, especially barb vs barb. LoD feels more like a niche scene now with small groups creating their own rule sets. That said, I still have plenty of GG items outside of runewords in lod or R😉

Spinning in the updated pixels of D2r is something you really gotta experience! D2r isnt expensive brother! Sure 3/20/20's are but u just dont go for them unless u wanna really ball out. Can do like what Anilator said and get close imperfects. I myself went with 6/46/35 LC's, super affordable. Very few people use all 100% perfect items, like is the standard in lod, so u would be surprised how affordable gear is actually. You can just go for close imperfects or perfect where it actually matters such as a 280ed 6lak EDC or a 1.5 lpl 215ed fort without max resistance, or a 15/0 400d grief to save fg too.

Most expensive thing will be your visio quite likely (just like how it is in lod) and u can get a solid one easily for 3-15k depending how solid u want it to be

With terror zones leveling to 99 is actually much much easier then in lod. I never even bothered to get a 99 in lod bc of how ridiculously hard it is to achieve. They fixed that with terror zones so its really nice to have my first legit 99 barb in d2r.

Aow isnt my thing but there's alot of aow guys on D2r as well, so you will find alot of fun spinz im sure.

Also like Anilator said they changed how ias works so new build variations are in d2r! Cold dmg is banned in gm bvb bc of this ias change and as an example u can use a Death runeword and still make max ww breakpoint now with the right gear!

You dont have to worry about losing your items if u go inactive for a few months either!





aow has some unfavorable rules and is very expensive imo. Strays too much from what the ancient ones taught us.
