good point, though the use of charms should be BM because they can add lots of Elemental Damage but as for Items they dont add much Elemetal damge. You could stack Chamrs but not stack the Damage on Items. The duress or RF HL build could be Ok but the use of charms not.

Alright guys,
this subject can be closed, Cold IS NOT BM. U can use it all you want, personnally I use it with one secondary setup, it helps me see when i hit, and helps me chase the opponent to get another ww in.

But if u ask Andrew (vortex619) many times it backfired and i had to take the cold sc off vs him because it made me lose.

I just see the ability to use cold as another way to diversify BvB. Too many restrictions and we are one step closer to being the same barbs.

well you can stack cold/fire/lightning or w/e with charms, but then what would that make? the barb would be terrible against barbs who use 32020s
poison is just irritating, and mass psn users would just run around after gettin a hit in and rain the opponents life. if that was allowed bvb would be a chaos.

and the reason why i dont use cold is for the same reason i told besh.. the barbs against which cold dmg would help are the barbs i would easily annihilate anyway
honestly, it only works vs slow, low lvl barbs, thats it. personally, i think its useless

So I didnt get to place my opinion about the cold sc!!!

SO IAM GONNA DO IT ANYWAYS.

Pretty much since day one and i think frank can vouch for me cuz i think we had this conversation before.

Its not bm because u sacifice but if your that insecure about your barb that you need to use a cold sc your a pussy and will use any and all means to win your duel I.E Dirty WWs Cold dmg and following in yazzs foot steps jumping.

I always enjoy the skill of dirty dueling me n besh do it all the time because it is a technique hit or miss regardless its still a skill and some are good at it and others arnt.

But if u gotta use a cold sc ur trying too hard. if your gonna use a ravens highlords build then your being old school. Id still favor the gelics and no tricks but skill in my duels.

Also if your a barb that does use cold scs whatever Im not singling anyone out and I hope no one gets offended by what I posted here this is just my opinion ON the COLD dmg.


Ive fucked with it a few times but Id def rather beat you 100% ar skill no bullshit no excuses. IMO.

There is no proof/evidance that cold dmg slows youre IAS while in wirlwind, therefor you still hit the same ammount of frame checks while wirlwinding with a frozen effect.
And because of this, i have a max/ar/cold sc, however when i am dueling a barb who uses cold, i prefer to not use mine. :X I find i hit more, or possibly becuase my wirlwind is slowed briefly, my wirlwind ends later, and i simply get off more hits?

Edit: On a side note, where the hell is this reset? :X

Bah i think its GM. Might as well not change an already good thing, right?

I just thought i'd put it out there, because people have been asking on ladder... Its nice to come to a decision together. And i just want to keep things consistant... NN double standard WW barb duels.

But personally, I dont use the cold eaither. :X
