<Challenge System: Please Read Before Issuing A New Challenge>

(1) Have fun!! (No Rage, Drama, BM, or Bullshit. You will be removed/banned if there are multiple complaints about you)
(2) If you wish to join, simply post your Jsp Name/D2 Acct/Char Name - Type of Char (Example: Vrael/Fizzle/Fizzle - Zealer)
(3) You're allowed to challenge up to 2 ranks above you until you get to #3 then you must duel everybody to get to #1 (Example, #5 can challenge #3, #4 has to challenge #3, #2, then #1)
(4) To issue a challenge, first PM the person you wish to duel, then post here. (Format: Challenging #2 Vrael/Fizzle/Fizzle - Zealer. Pm'd.)
(5a) Challenge Issuer: If you win, you must wait 12 hours after completing the challenge before you can issue another challenge.
(5b) If you lose, you must wait 48 hours after completing the challenge before you can challenge that same user, however you can challenge someone else, provided you are allowed to challenge them per these rules.
(6a) Challenged Individual: If you defend your position, you don't have to wait to issue another challenge, provided you aren't waiting on another challenge timer to run out.
(6b) If you lose your position, you must wait 48 hours after completing the challenge before you can challenge that same user, however, you can challenge someone else, provided you are allowed to challenge them per these rules.
(7) 2-Day Dodge rule (AFK, No-reply, No-show = Auto-loss) 2 consecutive Dodges = Removed from ladder. * = symbol for 1 dodge.
(8) If you cannot complete your challenge on time it is your responsibility to PM your challenger to inform them and then post in thread asking for an extension. If you fail to do this Dodge Rule will be enforced. (extensions can go out as far as 2 days from the time you request it.)

<1> GM Melee Rules apply to all duels See Page 1 for all rules, here are a few important ones.
<2> Challenges will take place in Nightmare, Inner Cloister. They will be best 2 out of 3 sets, first to six, must win each set by 2 Duels (Example: set 1: 6/4, set 2: 3/6, set 3: 12/10)
<3> You may change gear 1 time during each Set and 1 time between each Set. You must tell your opponent when you're going to change gear, you don't have to tell them what you are changing though.
<4> If both players die it is a draw.
<5> Post challenge results here immediately after duel completion to ensure challenge timers are accurate.

Do your best to communicate with your challenger and set a time to duel immediately upon receiving your PM challenge.

Aight we have 10 distinct users.
Gonna set up a non-tap setb. For those who don't know, setb is basically team dueling.
Step 1: FFA - we stand in a big huddle and duel everyone at once till there's 1 person remaining. Last person to die is 2nd team captain, last person alive is 1st team captain.
Step 2: Picking Teams - We will do our best to keep it even between the teams i.e. can't have team of furies vs team of paladins. First Team Captain selects first, Second Team Captain selects second till teams are filled out.
Step 3: Dueling. On First set of duels, 2nd TC selects which person will duel first on their team, then 1st TC selects the person that will duel the person the 2nd TC has selected. They duel each other like a normal GM Melee Duel, in the middle of the grass on the west side of the waypoint in Inner Cloister, with the teams grouped on the north and south sides of the grass. Whoever wins does NOT leave Inner Cloister. They stay till their opponent picks up body, and the TC from their opponent's team selects someone else to continue the duel. This continues until the last person on a team has died. The team that kills the last member of the opposing team wins the duel obviously. The loser of each duel selects the first person to go from their team for the next duel first. Normal GM Melee Rules Apply, with a few exceptions.
Exceptions: - DO NOT TAP. Tap gear is banned, this is a non-tap event to make it more fair for the furies and jabbazon(s)
You may NOT change gear. Select your gear and keep it for the set.
Sets are still first to 6, win by 2, with the exception that for the sake of brevity there will only be 1 set, and the set is capped at 10. In the event of a back and forth battle, the first team to 10 will win.

There will be a prize pot. Whether or not there is an entry fee is up for a vote, if there is an entry fee the prize pot will be larger. Entry fee could be between 25 and 100fg. However, if you do not wish to have an entry fee the prize pot will be comprised of donations. So far the prize pot is at 1300fg. Donations to the prize pot should have the FG Note "setb" or something of that nature so I know what it is for.

What is up for a vote:
The date. This will either occur on Thursday the 9th, or Friday the 10th. The setb will start at 9 PM EST (8 PM CST, 6 PM PST)
Entry Fee. Vote yes/no and amount of 25, 50, or 100fg.
Whether or not we even have this event: Not really a vote, if we can't get 6 people we won't do the event. Maximum we can have for this even it 8, but if all 10 want to do it the first 8 to post will be accepted. #9 will be PM'd first if someone doesn't show. If we only have 7, the 7th will be able to come watch but will not be allowed to participate for the sake of fairness.
