It would be 4, it would only be 3 if we continued to apply the policy used in round 4. It doesn't make sense to apply only half of a policy, or only use it half the time.

The reason I wanted to duel twice was to keep the number of matches for everybody as equal as possible, and to remove any of the gross benefits 1st place enjoys. I did it so that if I won the tournament it wouldn't be because I let everybody else bleed eachother; it was because I was actually the best zealer.

Yeah, I obviously thought I could win... but I also didn't want to win this tournament without having chance to duel them both. If he said something out of inexperience it would be based off common sense,
that would mean he chose the most obvious choice,
