Vacation Status:
Vacation status is for individuals who will be absent longer than 3 days, but less than 2 weeks (4-14 days).
Vacation status means that the individual may not be challenged.
You are able to duel around an individual on vacation status as if they are not on the ladder (you can challenge up to +2 above them).
At the end of the requested vacation status, users will be available for challenging, regardless of their activity (last seen rule).

This is quoted from the rules.

Rebekah's challenge was in fact valid because of this vacation status rule as Lacap sat at #3, two spots above being you at that time, #1.
