I always thought it was Cs + (DS divided by 3)

Its close. My math from the example I used 1% more ds than ds/3
I used 70%cs, 25%ds. Got 77% total cs/ds with my math. 76% w/ ds/3.

weird.. so the math for gores and hl?

If your crits is 70%, you get around 82% overall double dmg.
Personally, I wouldn't go w/ hlords vs cats eye cause of stats n mobility vs the just 35% ds. Ofc I keep one in stash for the ias/lite res vs v/t foh n infinity sorcs.

Depends, vs melee n hdin, I use wt's. Vs ne ele char, I stack res. Ofc hspurs vs fb ect.
Tho you can use gores if you opt for lower crits to stack d/e/a. My old zva bowa, I used lower crits, hlord/gores and maxed lf. So they gotta trade off something. Dungos or tgods. Take off the raven for wisp ect. Only maxing fury, I was doin about 1200 lite dmg on top of all the phys dmg. But for zvz, id rather have pure phys cause you can use bolt as well.
