I tested this with Jason and each time he hit me, I saw no Life loss after the initial damage and no difference from bein hit with a normal weapon other than the fact that u turn green.
While I agree poison DMg, like all elemental DMg, is generally bm in melee duels, I suggest that like the other types, a reasonable cap be set that should be determined as the minimum amount where you actually lose life after the initial blow wearing the least possible poison resistance.
Up to a certain point of DMg, other than turning green, there really is no effect on the duel.
At least for me, this is FAR less annoying than firestorm off a torch, which is both obnoxious and actually takes of life
I would also like to remind everyone that this is a suggestion thread designed to promote reasonable ideas and efforts to improve melee dueling, not a thread designe to shoot down every new idea or alteration in a rule, without any evidence or testing backing up such rejections, simply because some do not want to see any change from what they are used to. That just defeats the entire purpose of this thread and for too long I have watched reasonable discussions and ideas shot down because some people think they are on a power trip or above others in the community for whatever egotistical self endulging reasons.
