ofcourse it's fair.

scott you of all people should know from playing competitive sports, that a team that remains undefeated in a tournament plays less, where a team thats lost a game has to play more to get a shot at winning.

there were an odd ammount of people, and I was in first. Rather than taking the bye, i suggested to Joey having first place (me) duel twice rather than somebody sitting out.

If a policy is applied to first place at one point in the tournament it should apply to first place for the WHOLE tournament, not just one round.


I explained this very well with one sentence: "Joey fucked up by allowing you to duel twice."

We are now at a crucial spot in the tournament where fuck-ups shouldn't happen.

You never should've dueled 2x in one round, which would bring your record to 3-1 and you wouldn't be sitting here having this :cry: fest.

Here's another hint to maybe help you understand: When you go undefeated in a tournament you have to win less matches to win the tournament. When you lose in a tournament you have to win more matches to win the tournament.

I'm saying its unfair for two different sets of rules to be applies under identicle circumstances

I was in first
There was 7 people (odd)
I was undefeated
I dueled twice

Jay is in first
There are 3 people (odd)
He is undefeated.
He gets a bye??????

How am I bending the rules if I'm asking for a uniform policy? to do otherwise is to literally bend the rules..

IT'S THE FINAL 3 AND YOU SHOULD NEVER HAVE DUELD TWICE.

you bent the rules initially by suggesting to duel twice in one round, and are now attempting to bend the rules again

of course it's different. the final three decide the 1st 2nd and 3rd place.

you made the suggestion for you to duel twice, which is outside the norm. your abnormal suggestion should not apply to jupe.

all you're trying to do is get a loss on jupes record to even the field.

as an impartial observer you're honestly telling me it makes more sense to you for Jay to get two byes in a row, rather then dueling when there's an even ammount of people?
