seriousy guys, you should dropped the subject, this not serious problem or anything else nor it's not dealing with ladder/tourneys or etc.; i'm not friends with stevo and never was nor i'm not defending him;
point is; if was on ladder or tourney then we would do something about it like ban him or put him suspension for awhile til farther notice and every tourney we be checking hes gear seeing he's being gm or follow him to every challenge or something else. i've seen a lot of stupid stuff going on in pn past few yrs, you guys wouldn't belive. we could go in details, like example; i've seen someone whos trying ban people in pn by "bming" them that's just wrong. or trying to ban them by changing pw to pn, that's also wrong; pn is like test ground or anything goes i guess, nobody really cares tbh. it's not gm it when it was long time ago but mostly because idiots inviting people in game and try ruined game. people needs to stop posting pn's pw in public maybe do it in pms or something else not in public it's going bring casters or maybe worse the modders in game.

imo you guys shouldn't just posted in ugml, you guys should just posted here. which it's okay dicussing about stuff.

Yes i DO tested mara prebuff few days ago ONLY , it started vs bm Smiter and i used for fun vs kurok and other dude yesterday... and now the mara is on mules DOT.

Ive been gm since i play melee and during challenge and tourney i never used this before !!

Ban me for this ? hmm wow ok go ahead...

Anyway i respect every opinion but all i can say is i tested this prebuff things 4 days later due to a couples of bm kids , NOW that ammy is on mules I WAS CURIOUS.

End of the story , get some maturity and calm down its just a freaking game HELLO...

It's all we gotta know

I have been playing this game since it was D1, and I have been a leader in melee community for like 7-8 years. And I have seen every form or bullshit unlegit ways to melee, and tactic there is and first thing I must say before I comment on this is this..."Don't ANY of you suckers throw stones when you live in a GRASS House"

You know wtf I mean.....PERIOD. (hacks like tmc, bm tactics like shifting, NON Legit items like imports, Bm gear like Ber'd non glitched items, eth fort etc....ALL THE SAME TO ME)


Now with that said here's my feelings.

1- I am have always been fast to address harshly ANYONE thats done something wrong like this, I lost good friends for my stance on BM. And I honoestly see nothing wrong with using PN as a testing ground for things like this. It's nothing new.

2- The only thing wrong here is I believe when testing shit like this in PN it needs to be mentioned. Again...It needs to be told upfront while in pn.

3- If I'm not mistaken this was in discussion not long ago and many had agreed if someone wanted to sub out one sc for this it was up to them. I don't agree, ust saying this isn't a shock to me. In my personal opioion 90% of you slutmuffins are BM for using stolen gear, imports, and hacks to LOOK at my fukn gear or shiftn my ass cuz weak ass marks. Luckily I don't care alot about this I still love you kids, and love melee.

Yeah definitely...people always test shit in PN and have always used BM items for fun but it should be told beforehand. However, im not sure why memnoch did not consult with stevo before making this such a huge dilemma that has to involve the entire melee community on jsp...

From what I see in the pics, they made an assumption which turned out to be true, but instead of talking to him about it first they came and exposed in the same manner as if he was a scammer/multi...etc. NN for that imo. If he had already spoke to Stevo and he denied...then at least PM Lee first before bringing it to UGML

Ok, first of all, I had every intention on dropping this and not posting about it at all.

Here's how it came to light. A kid I know was in Pn 2 nights ago when I joined. We were dueling then all the sudden he whispered me and told me Stevo was prebuffing...I asked how he knew and he said he had an item checker and was looking at everyones gear, then proceeded to tell me what I was wearing. I didn't care at first at all, I usually don't. But he continued to use it vs me, then vs Kurok, then vs Diesel_fumes in the same game and never mentioned it. My friend said he could get a screen shot and send me the pics, but right after he said that he left (stevo). A few of us talked about it in the game after he left, and all agreed it was Bm.

As for Lee saying it is ok to put in inv. to replace a Sc, that is not true. I have asked Jess when I was still on the UGML ladder about that, because I wanted to do just that, put sojs,maras, etc inside cube, and put cube in inventory, and she said it was discussed and not allowed and considered Bm. So that's where my stance on this matter came from. (And I think you meant Glass house )...

I went to bed, and had literally forgot about it. Later that next night, I get a pm that he's doing it again vs other kids, kurok included again, and this time he got pics. When asked about it, he denied it. Said he was testing vs a smiter, and only once. So to add to the fact that he prebuffed he lied about it.

I admit I shouldn't have posted it in UGML, and I posted it in here right after I did, that was a mistake on my part, I apologize.

I know how you feel about imports Lee, but that is and will never be in the same category as this, no matter what you say. I take a strong stance on Bm, especially when someone lies about it afterwards. I have no problem with people testing shit in Pn, but to deny it, only makes it worse in my eyes. How can you trust someone who denies something so trivial? Yes I said trivial, because I don't think that using the Maras was a big deal, it's a bigger deal that he used the excuse that it was for vs Bm kids, then continued to use it vs 4 Gm pallies, and then lied about the use at all.


You guys can flame me all you want, but I'm old school, I feel that someone in his standing on an active ladder should know better than that, and I felt like it was my responsibility to let the community know of such acts, because if he is willing to lie about it, then who's to say he won't lie about it in an actual challenge?
