PRESENT AND PENDING DUELS

GM MELEE RULES

➜ GM Melee rules apply to all duels
➜ The only rule that differ from LoD/UGML rulesets are: 1) Poison damage is allowed on weapons up to 100, but no other source of poison damage may be used, if this becomes an issue poison will no longer be allowed
➜ Characters allowed to play this ladder: Conc Barbs only
➜ A challenge will be best 2/3 sets, first to 6 must win each set by 2 duels.
➜ You may change gear twice during a set and once between each set. You must announced this by saying "swap 1" or "swap 2" during a set.
➜ Using a token during a challenge is not permitted. When you start your best 2/3 series, you must keep the same stats during the entire series.
➜ Duels will be held in the Inner Closter along the wall between the doors to ensure no angling.
➜ You will be dueling in Normal.

Prohibitions

- Do not commit acts of bad manner.
- Do not angle (both parallel to the wall)
- Do not prebuff.
- Do not use poison outside of 100 cap on weapon
- Do not use slow.
- Do not enchant.
- Do not jump.
- Do not pot.
- Do not run.
- Do not whirlwind.
- Do not knockback.
- Do not use items that emit auras which affect player vs. player (PVP) and cause physical and/or elemental damage.
- Do not emit the holy freeze aura.
- Do not cast item/torch charges.

Equipment Section:

Weapons - Rares/Magics
Any weapon with poison damage more then 100
Any weapon with more than 300 elemental damage.
Any weapon with higher than level 5 cast.
Any weapon that casts amplify curses
Any weapons have that cast/proc upon death are permitted. For example: Breath of the dying

Any jewel with elemental dmg is not permitted
Any weapon not mentioned that falls in the above rules

Inventory:

No elemental or poison damage in any charm. EXCEPTION: Hellfire Torch

Special mentions and FAQS - PLEASE READ

Game creation - Duels will be done on NORMAL

Starting Duel - Both players must shift attack towards each other to commence the duel

Miss-Clicking - Continue fighting - if there is a continous issue of missclicking, you will be disqualified

Glitched Strength - Auto DQ will result if you die and can't pick up gear. EXCEPTION: Item broke during duel causing you to not be able to pick up body

Chilling Armor - Must not be on prior to a duel, referee or opponent to kill off surviving player with chilling armor

Running into/during Duel - Point awarded to opponent

Draws - If a player kills each other at the same time by melee swings it is a draw. No point awarded to either player. EXCEPTION: If Player A kills Player B. Then if Player A dies by Player B's torch. Player A is awarded the point.

Gear checks can be requested during any time during a ladder or tournament setting within reason, Player who refuses to comply with gear check is disqualified.

The player being gear checked, must not go back to stash to make changes, failure to comply will result in being removed from this ladder indefinitely.

CHALLENGE SYSTEM

➜ Want to be added to the Ladder? Please post your d2jsp username, character name, and type of character, The Admin reserves the right to allow or deny players to join this ladder.
➜ You can challenge 1 or 2 ranks above you until you get to #3, at which point you can only challenge 1 rank above.
➜ To issue a challenge, you must post in the thread and PM your opponent on d2jsp. PMing on Discord is recommended, but not mandatory.
➜ Did you issue a challenge and win? You must wait 12 hours to issue another challenge.
➜ Did you issue a challenge and lose? You must wait 24 hours to issue another challenge, or 48 hours to rechallenge the same opponent.
➜ Did you get challenged and win? You can issue a challenge immediately!
➜ Did you get challenged and lose? You must wait 24 hours to issue a challenge.
➜ Winning a match can reset the time you have to wait. For example, if you issued a challenge and lost, are then challenged and win immediately, you no longer have to wait out the 24 timer to challenge a new person. You cannot use this rule to reset a 48 hour timer to rematch the same person you lost to.
➜ You have 72 hours (3 days) from the time you issued your challenge to complete it. AFKing, not replying, not showing up are all automatic losses and dodges. If you dodge two consecutive matches, you will be removed from the Ladder. PM and admin to be reactivated.
➜ You can put yourself on a “temporary AFK” status for up to 10 days only (i.e., if you are going on vacation or a business trip). If your “temporary AFK” status extends beyond 10 days, you will be either dropped to the bottom or removed from the Ladder.
➜ If a match cannot be completed with 72 hours, the person who is busy and/or causing the delay should be the one to request the extension. However, either party can request the extension. Extensions are for 24 hours only. Longer extensions can be granted only in exceptional circumstances determined by the administrators.
➜ If a match is not completed within 72 hours and no extension was requested by either party, an automatic dodge will be given to the person responsible for the delay. There are no exceptions to this!
➜ You may not for any reason go on a “temporary AFK” during the last 10 days of the season to prevent gridlock.
➜ When coming back from a "temporary AFK" status, you must wait 12 hours to issue a challenge.

➜ No rage, Drama, Insults, BM Actions or you will be removed... Banned if there are multiple complaints about you...
