i think everyone that's into melee hated the idea of imports but most people hate losing more so majority gave in and got one... now it's too late to ban imports because there will be a decent amount of people getting fucked over because they spent

alot of $$ or fg to acquire one... it should have been banned from the very beginning when they first started showing up... now it's just too late

I'll agree :S but nobody belive me about when i told them, the circs is import but it took them a yr or 2 to figure them out soo stupid.. all i hear was like

"if was import how come it poofs"

craig never had legit dual stats nor i doubt it he gambled it i know for a fact, he's such a liar. he usually buy it from pubs for awful cheap price by offering randoms cheap items or something or he do trades in pubs and offer people awful fools for it which fools isn't worth a dime and extremly low ed.

But theres one guy who did gamble legit 2pal 2o's vis some crazy stats but it wasn't craig.

It won't grow again without imports because of exile because half of east hated it and other half loves it. no matter the problem if we ban import

I know It was 1 of 2 reasons i got out of melee again after i had just come back.. Ive been melee for a long time before civic hell before Pn even, and in todays game play with these imports its the worst its ever been if u ask me... Theirs no limitless building oppertunity their once was..Now its spend $$$ or spend 100k fg on ur zealot and u can be top 10! Many of you may not know me on jsp as well as I am known in the melee community on D2 My account is Barpaean and Ive had my hand in just about every melee guild from the beginning, and I think something needs to be done about imports.. Used to be that even welfare zeals could have a good day and even win a tourney due to a unique build idea that got them that win, not because they spent mass money or fg which not many people have these days. Hell this whole thing is making me want to start my own ladder and keep imports the hell out of it , melee is about being legit, unique, and all around Gm , thats long gone now though.

"Minimalist Nt Melee Tourney" Idea or whatever:

Players are only allowed 6 Points worth of gear (point's only apply to Helm / Shield / Armor / Weapon)

Magical Items = 1 Point
Crafted Items = 1 Point
Rare Items = 1 Point
Set Items = 1 Point
Unique Items = 2 Points
Runeword Items = 2 Points

Example (allowed):

Stormshield (2 pts)
Visionary (1 pt)
Rare Weapon (1 pt)
Runeword Armor (2pts)

Example (not allowed):

EDC (2 pts)
Shaft (2 pts)
Alma (2 pts)
Visionary (1 pt)

This rules out like every annoying overused build out there.. Something like this could be fun but would be hard to arrange.
