Ultimately it is absolutely not ‘s fault. It is the ruleset that I have a problem with.

We were 1-1 prior to me leaving the game.

I just 100% dont agree with a specific rule even tho it did not handicap me in the first duel, it was 1-0 and then 1-1.

I can’t see this being allowed like it is (not the cold dmg, but the way the ruling are made around it).

It is too much of a clutch add-on to not be forced to divulgate.

It is something that always been banned on lvl30 melee. Donger started to allow eventually to let people use their gg erep if they spawned with 1cold dmg (on lvl9), but people are forced to announce it (same for frost nova although I could see ctc frost nova not being forced to announce).

I cannot wrap my head around allowing cold dmg in a ladder where 50%+ of builds use Sigon and not forcing anyone to announce it or announce swap from/to cold dmg. This can result in a cheesy win in a mu that was 9-9 prior to swap.

That is for this reason I drop the ladder. I dont want you guys to modify the ruling for me although Im pretty sure other people agree with me.

Edit: Boozie made a comparison with the ATD, but IMO these cannot be treated the same. As a zealer or jabber, you expect your opponent to try and run highest ATD possible they can have on their gear (limited still). It is specific to a jabber/zealer. How is cold dmg specific to a build? How can you expect X build/opponent to have cold dmg? So this leaves you with a cheesy first win or a clutch win to get away 10-9 in a mu. I absolutely disagree with this.

And the fact that he probably has idk 18pts inner sight leaves him will lesser points jab with low AR % just theory crafting there.

Because Boozie seemed concerned I was a Defiance build. He though I was a Might zealer that respec to Defiance for that matchup.

I was more concerned about the cold damage.

I understand what you say about putting Deaths on etc etc, but Ham, it is a melee ladder. To start with, cold damage should just not even be allowed.

And anyway, you got my concern wrong. What concerns me most is you can cheese a win with it.

You are not forced to divulgate and your opponent cannot do a gear swap same time you do.

I could easily cheese out a win if I were to be 9-9 per example vs a Conc barb. We both know we both run Sigon. Then in the 19th duel, I stash and slap on cold dmg. Rip the opponent and get away with the win.

You feel comfortable allowing this? That is why I dropped. Because it will ultimately be a game of who swap for his cold damage rightfully would almost be able to steal 2 wins in a duel.

I know I can use Deaths and swap a GC or 2 and im good using my setup.

At last, on the contrary of what Boozie and idk bout you seems to think, most of us run Sigon’s set, even the Might zealer. That includes the Conc barb, the Zealer, i think yourself aswell idk

Anyway Im good man. You guys have fun. I dont want to be pissed cause I lose to hidden cold damage swaps etc etc. Thats not melee to me.

any cold dmg including ctc frost novva should be noted at start of duels and noted when swapped in 100%
