Challenge System - Please Read Before Issuing New Challenges:


- To Signup, post your D2jsp Name/Character Name/Type of Character

- These signups are for ladder and non ladder alike -Shapeshift ladder will start after ladder reset ON NON LADDER *

- You are allowed to challenge up to 2 ranks above you until you get to #4 then you must duel everyone in the top 3 to get to #1
- To issue a challenge you must pm your opponent, then post in this thread
- A challenge will be best 2/3 sets, first to 6 must win each set by 2 duels
- You may swap gear 2 times during a set and 1 time between each Set
- If you issue a challenge and win, you must wait 12 hours to issue another challenge. If you issue a challenge and lose you must wait 24 hours to issue another challenge, or 48 hours to rechallenge the same person
- If you are challenged and win, you can issue a challenge immediately. If you are challenged and lose, you must wait 24 hours to issue a challenge
- 3-Day Dodge Rule (Afk, No-reply, No-show = Auto-Loss) 2 Consecutive "Dodges" = Removed from Ladder
- If you cannot complete your challenge on time it is your responsibility to message your challenger to inform and then post in thread asking for an extension. If you fail to do this, the dodge rule will be enforced

Gm Shapeshifting Rules:

- Good Manner (GM) Rules Apply to all Duels (See Below)
- Characters allowed to play this ladder: Fury Werewolf, Werebarb, Maul Bear
- Shockwave Ref IS allowed but not mandatory
- Using a token mid-challenge is not allowed
- Recasting sage if it dies IS allowed
- Reshifting into Werewolf if you return to human form IS allowed
- Duel is only over when someone dies
- Duels are held in Inner Cloister or Blood Moor
- Duels are held in Normal mode

Prohibitions:

- Do not prebuff with +skill items that you aren’t wearing for the actual duel
- Poison is not currently allowed on items, charms, or skills - BotD runeword is exempt from this rule
- Do not use slow
- Do not enchant
- Do not jump
- Do not pot
- Do not use knockback
- Do not use items that emit elemental damage auras
- Do not cast item/torch charges

List of Banned Items:

[Weapons - Rares/Magics/Uniques]

Any weapon with poison damage
Any weapon with more than 200 total of each elemental damage type
Any weapon that casts a skill over Level 9
Any weapon that casts Amplify Damage
Any weapon that otherwise violates the GM rules
Any ethereal weapon with no repair mod or zod rune (breakable)


[Armors]

Any armor that casts enchant
Any armor that otherwise violates the GM rules
Any ethereal armor with no repair mod or zod rune (breakable)

Additional Rules:

[Starting Duel] - Hold the Shift attack towards your opponent to signal that you are ready, once both are swinging, commence the duel

[Miss-Clicking] - Continue fighting unless both parties agree to restart or redo

[Shifting/Angling/Ranging] - Shifting/Angling to attempt to outrange your opponent is not allowed. Click & Hold until both players are in range and swinging

[Gear Check] - Gear check can be requested and is performed by Ref if available. If Ref isn't used, items requested for gear check are to be linked in game chat. Going to stash on gear check request is auto DQ

[Glitched Strength] - Auto disqualification will result if you die and can't pick up gear

[Chilling Armor] - Must not be on prior to a duel - Referee to kill off surviving player with chilling armor unless you agree otherwise

[Draws] - If neither player survives the walk back to town, it counts as a draw. No point awarded to either player

[Lifetap Gear] - Not allowed

[Starting Position] - Players can start from any position ("lining up" is not required). Exception: If there is no Shockwave referee, you must start within 3 tiles of your opponent to limit Oak Sages from moving. Attempts to manipulate the Oak Sage into flying into the duel will result in an auto-DQ

We have decided on a new rule.

Fury druids cannot use spirits against other shapeshift classes.

Randomized ladder rankings and challenges will start on ladder reset.

Hey, folks ! :) Just have a few words before the beginning of a new chapter of the this very epic game that we all love !

I will give to the Melee Community 30,000Fg value of private posts storage that i had in my old guild MoS.

And now, i am introducing you the d2Jsp Melee Center

This can be use for every LoD/D2R players and all GM melee ladder Moderator.

The main goal of this place is to keep the history of melee easily accessible for all on d2jsp. We can all use it like a cloud that holds all useful and cool information.

Every leaders of each ladders can decide what topic info they want to make. At any time you can just me pm about this.

This should be very easy to use for all players who are dedicated to melee.. Many cool new topics will be made there, this is just a start !

Finally, it's about time for reset ! I wish everyone a great season and lets have fun all together !
