You have to use the chant as part of your equipment. If you cast it it must be done during the battle orders phase.

We are gaining competitors at a faster rate then I had anticipated.

Re-wording and clarifications added to rules:


[ Inventory ] - The only items allowed in character inventory are charms.
[ Difficulty ] - All duels will take place in nightmare difficulty.
[ Enchant ] - Must be cast during the battle orders phase, is not allowed against druids or amazons; and must be mutually agreed upon in barbarian vs. barbarian duels.
