The cold ban was put in place BECAUSE of the ranking systems and tournaments. The people posting here in defense of keeping cold banned had nothing to do with it (as far as I know, correct me if im wrong) In gm communities, when a rule is established by vote, it is brought into the associated duel rooms, whether they are public or not my man. You dont have different rules in the ladders, tournaments, events, than in the duel rooms associated with that community.

The discord full of "friends" that you speak of has nearly 200 active members of the gm melee and bvb communities. it wasnt an exclusive vote held behind the scenes like whats being suggested here

This is insane. this will be my last post here, but please understand how you sound at this point because poison being banned was another controversial issue that we voted on AS A COMMUNITY in the COMMUNITY DISCORD and its been unbanned in every gm melee league in every country for some time now as a result

no one has tried to sell a single barb weapon with cold damage that I've seen

Adding one more point. Allowing cold dmg will also limit the use of 1os visio or arreats.

Been slapping some ass with a grief Zweihander 1Os Visio. This argument is not very valid this far into bvb after the patch. And I look cooler than the zerker bois.

How about this? Allow cold dmg, but no one can use cham rune or raven.

Maybe this is the best alternative everyone can accept. Let me know.

Interesting idea. I think allowing cold and also cbf will be a slight nerf to grief as you have to fit cham and use a zwei with 1os visios. On the other hand it will bring fools builds closer to grief and enhance build variety. I was one of the few people on discord that voted against the unban but I am fine with both rulesets. I just wish for an easy transition between ladder and casual barb vs barb duels because using a token to switch setups everytime sucks
