im just not sure about what you said... you will not give extension anymore only for me or for everyone ? because if you want remove it for everyone i suggest we should make a vote with everyone in ladder.... you cant change a rules only because you decided by yourself ...
I thank you for your input Mik979. However, this has been a recurring issues on this ladder for quite some time now. This is nothing against you or your request for extensions, its simply the fact that so many people are requesting extensions that it is slowing down the ladder by 24 hours on top of the allotted 72 hours. Once again, you are correct that I cannot simply change the rules. However, I have to keep everyone on this ladder in mind, not just the extremely active members. This is in response to the multiple Pm's that I and Donny have been receiving recently on the subject. Additionally, this topic has been put to vote in the past, far before your most recent tour here. As a result it was decided that we were moving away from the extensions and sticking to the original origins of the ladder (dodge/null). Consequently, it is written in the rules that an admin has the discretion to award/deny extension requests. Having to track, count, and be selective on a person by person case is not something Donny or I will do, as a case by case method will result in unfairness towards certain members of the ladder. Thus after revisiting the issue again (Current Admins), in an attempt to keep an equal playing field for all, the ladder will remain on a no extension policy. This should not be detrimental to any interested party. Best case scenario; if any party is unable to complete their duel a 'Null duel' will be awarded by an admin after 72 hours, at worst case scenario a dodge will be awarded by an admin, awarding the challenger a new position.
Please note that everyone should be in the practice of saving the most recent PM string from each of their opponents (you do not need to save them all, just the most recent string). A pm string is a continued reply by both parties to the original PM (not a new pm each contact). This is to provide admins with accurate time stamps for enforcement. Simply forward the pm string to an admin before the expiration date. This will allow admins to make an informed decision rather than blindly go based off jsp activity. The pm string can be deleted out of your inbox after a ruling is made. If anyone has any questions or comments, please contact me via pm. Id rather not choose to get into open debates via the bvb thread. If you have a stance I strongly encourage you to voice your opinion.
