im just not sure about what you said... you will not give extension anymore only for me or for everyone ? because if you want remove it for everyone i suggest we should make a vote with everyone in ladder.... you cant change a rules only because you decided by yourself ...

I think Tom's point is that the extension provision gets taken advantage of at times, more than likely because of forgetfulness over being too busy


with that being said, a recurring pattern deserves attention, which is what I believe Tom was reflecting on. I recall this situation being an issue in the past and sometimes revisiting the topic clears up the delay and we can move forward.



let's keep in mind - trying to keep the ladder going smoothly while obeying the rules that are in place is no easy task. Many different personalities on this ladder from all around the world and different time zones can conflict, we all know this.


I agree with Tom's point, if it happens frequently with certain players there has to be some kind of limit to over excess of a provision. The rule was originally put into place to help people in certain schedules and time zones sync up with their opponent. Taking advantage of it, knowingly and not knowingly just takes away your own responsibility to complete your duels.


I would like to add - that an extension isn't the only option, calling dodge on your opp is also an option, giving up your spot is also an option.

I'm removing the AFK section of the ladder update - we should have them rejoin when ready to play, instead of allowing a player to go idle and limp like some college coed passed out on the couch. we get, you're still here.. but nobody is touching you girl, nobody
