Yes it should affect your ww. So u can use cnbf.
In aow bvb raven is allowed

You are using either Cham in Stormshield or Raven on non Angelic builds

As Dikata said - question of time. Keep things in expansion makes it impossible for new players to join and level their characters up. Also in exp no new stuff inc - more and more items getting converted. No reason to keep things in expansion.
