major vouch, I initially built my entire sorc based on page 1 rules, now hear there's "updated" rules? page 1 rules are fine, I'm at 95es 'cause I adjusted to these new stupid rules, it's ridiculous how many points I had to spend in Es, completely Anti-Es rules imo, with no mitigation

Just throwing this out there, you can be calm about it. no one else is pissed so relax and state your argument. no need for the side banter.


I only see one issue with switching back, sop is harder to use with the old rules. the new rules are adjusted for hybrids and bugged items.

Remember this is non ladder, these bugged, prepatch, and hybrid items exist on the realm and are allowed. If theres an issue with that you need to svs on ladder where these items dont exist.

While I dont agree with all the rules they have been tested carefully to be sure its fair for the realm. Personally I feel es should be limited to 5x bmanas or 13x 20/17 thus making the mana pool more even for all players while still giving bmanas a chance to do there purpose.

Mitigation should be in place, es is extremely tanky without the rule in effect.

bring back 105fcr builds, 200 is boring after so many years. 105 allows bigger life pools and more interesting duels. it also brings cold sorcs up to level with the pack.

thing is, I think it says no 85% res on es sorcs or something like that in the new rules, no one does 95es 85%res builds, that's retarded, you can rep it at the same pace it takes your mana pots at 90es.


I was frustrated 'cause, from what I thought, Es Sorcs weren't allowed to use 85% res anymore... that's what I thought anyway. 85%res and 90es, that's the mitigation rule, ofc it should be in place.

95 es is suicide on a svs sorc, if you cant beat something that dies in 3-4 consecutive hits in 2017 its time to quit...

even if you hit them twice to drain there mana fully, it takes them ~25 seconds to regen it back to full (to tank another 2 hits..), so thats on you for letting a weak build do that.


Anything to do with that original mitigation rule doesnt make sense... adding es% to max res% is literally retarded... thats not how damage stacks whatsoever....................
